Our Last Few Weekends

Ryan and I have been having pretty long weeks so these past two weekends have been so nice with nothing planned. These pictures are us walking on the Highline in the Meat Packing District which is an elevated park. We aslo saw "In the Heights" on Broadway, been to fun dinners, gone to street fairs, visited "Eataly" (new huge Italian market in Midtown). Last Saturday we went to Central Park to relax and read, Ryan looked up the name of a famous deli on the Upper East Side called "Pastrami Queen", we split a $15 sandwich, there must of been gold in the turkey . . . it was pretty good tho. The weather on the week days haven't been nice, which has been hard for me with the kids but fortunately the weekends have been nice enough to be outside, which I love.

We experienced one of the most crazy thunder, lightning and rain storm last Sunday. It rained so hard we couldn't even see the building across the way. Lighting lit up the sky for 3 hours straight, just constant flashes. Definitely something neither of us had ever witnessed before. The trees are slowly starting to change and in the next couple weekends we hope to go check out the fall foliage.
