Brooklyn Waterfront Park

Today Ryan and I had a nice day walking around a part of Brooklyn that we can see from our roof but have never explored. We took the subway to Borough Hill, found a cute pub to have lunch and then walked towards the water where the park began. We are constantly impressed with New York's parks and in this area there was one impressive one after the next. There is a lot of renovation that is happening in the area and looks like they are going to make this whole half mile stretch along the water, one very cool area. They probably will be finished with it just about the time that we are leaving BUT there are some finished parts that are very impressive. We waited to take the water Taxi back but it never arrived so we just walked a few blocks to the subway. It was a fun exploration and we got to see views of our neighborhood the whole time.

"The Bridge Cafe", Restaurant we would love to go to on a special occasion.
Cute little ice cream shop
An area to sit and enJOY the view

Our hood is behind us.

Brrrr, it was very cold.

We're off to London on Wednesday. Happy Thanksgiving everyone we'll miss seeing our families on this special holiday!
