Ryan moved to NYC for his job December 2009. Heather finished up her school year and wanted to continue to plan their wedding so she moved June of 2010. They got married on April 3rd, 2010, had an amazing wedding but had to say goodbye for two more months. Now Heather finally moved to New York on June 18th, 2010 and they get to feel what it's actually like to be married. Enjoy our adventures in New York, we plan to take advantage of the East Coast and appreciate all it has to offer.

It's Official
It's official, Ryan and I have only six more months here in the Big Apple. I told my work last week which was such a bitter/sweet feeling. I truly love my job that it's going to be so hard to leave BUT Ryan and I miss home so much and are so excited to be back and really start settling down. We'll definitely take advantage of these next few months while we are here, we already have a list going of what we still need to see. Just wanted to let everyone know. xo
Fort Tryon Park and first winter snow
Yesterday Ryan and I took the subway up to 190th street to walk around Fort Tryon Park. It was a park built by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., son of the architect of Central Park, in 1935, and gifted to the city of New York by John D. Rockefeller in 1917. Fort Tryon Park is one of the city’s most beautiful outdoor pieces of art and one of the best presents ever received. The park is up above the Hudson River which leads to very beautiful views.

Last weekend we got a few inches of snow, which lead to a great/needed lazy day. Here's a picture of our chistmas tree stand that I had forgotten to put away. :)

Dunne's and Marley
We had another fun weekend when the Dunne's came to visit us last week!! We did everything from seeing the Broadway musical "Rock of Ages", walked the highline, shopped and ate at Buddakan plus many other yummy restaurants. For school it was my week to be the "Very Important Person" so I got to bring Marley the Monkey home with me. Marley had fun with the Dunne's while watching the Golden Globes, the 49er game and just hanging out with our dear friends. It's always so wonderful spending time with the Dunne's!!! Next time we see them they will have a little bambino girl in tow. Can't wait!!

Holiday Fun
Mill Valley to Napa to Truckee to Carmel to Santa Cruz to Mill Valley. Santa's got nothing on us. Lots of driving, lots of food, lots of fun family time AND a couple glasses of wine. We loved every moment of it and only wish we had more time at each place.
Thank you to all who took the time to see us and we're sorry if we missed you this time around. We're looking forward to the next time we're home.
