Montauk

We had a very fun trip staying at the "Sun 'N' Sound" in Montauk. This hotel is in Craig Given's family, so Julia and Craig kindly invited us to spend some time with them and their family.

Shelley and Jake's Wedding

We had a wonderful weekend in Calistoga celebrating Shelley and Jake. We started the weekend off by going wine tasting with people that were attending the wedding. It was a beautiful day while we visited Riverie, Markham and Twomey Wineries. Shelley was so happy and excited that the weekend had finally arrived. The wedding itself was gorgeous, not too hot, lovely setting, beautiful bright flowers and a stunning bride and groom. The dinner was in a wine cave that was lit with candles and amazing flowers throughout the tables.

Fun Filled Packed Week

I really wish I took more pictures while we were home, I'm usually so good. I did end getting a few pictures of the adorable Murtagh and Calabrese babies, Sarah and Lincoln.

We started off our time in California with driving straight up to Sacramento to visit Pat, Ryan's mom. We had a fun dinner with Ryan's family, Ellen, Jim, Kathleen, Melanie, Katie and Jarid. The next day we were off to Oroville to check out the lake and visit with Curtis, Jen, Caleb and their new addition Coleson. The lake was so full and beautiful, it was fun to see. Sunday we were able to get together with 14 of our SF friends at Joe's at Westlake. Really wonderful to see everyone even though it wasn't enough time. Poor Ryan then had to jump on a plane for the week going to Chicago then Boston then back to SF. I was able to visit with so many of my nearest and dearest. I saw Lita and Chris's new adorable house. I met the new addition to the Prime family, sweet baby James. Had a delicious dinner with Mel and Em. Visited with Brooke and her cute little Lilly and then had some wonderful quality time with Jen. On my way to pick up Ryan on Thursday I was able to visit with Julia too. Along with fun dinners with my family, a walk with my dad and shopping with my mom, it was a fun filled packed week. We then were off to celebrate Shelley and Jake getting married in Calistoga. (That will be the next post).

Wish we had even more time at home so that we could of visited everybody! Thank you all for taking to time to see us while we were in town. We can't believe a year has already gone by and are excited to move back in just 11 short months. We love all of you!!

Martha's Vineyard

This past weekend Ryan and I got to go to Martha's Vineyard to stay with his friend Cam from Santa Clara. Along with some of Cam's friends we had a great time BBQing, going out in Edgertown, going to the beach, eating fresh lobster, playing bayroot (which Heather is REALLY good at, randomly) and going on a fun bike ride. It was a quick plane ride from NYC and a wonderfully relaxing time with new and old friends.

Boat Ride on Hudson and East River

It was a beautiful day, so Ryan and I decided to take a boat ride on the Hudson and East River. For a great deal you got a 90 minute cruise with free champagne and all. We had a wonderful and needed time just the two of us. We never even needed jacket the whole ride. We're off to Martha's Vineyards tomorrow. More fun posts to come.

Summer Time . . . Finally!

It's July 1st and my first official day of summer. I agreed to work at my schools summer camp which started the Monday after school got out. I will say it was a very long three weeks for me. I was so ready for the school year to be over and have a break but nope, had to jump right back into it. BUT, now that it's over and I'm a little bit richer, it's time to enjoy summer and all this city has to offer. We're excited to go to concerts in the park, watching movies outdoors, see random firework shows and explore the east coast beaches. This Monday, on the 4th, we will be going on a well needed mini vacation to Martha's Vineyard. We will be staying with Ryan's friend Cam, eating delicious sea food and relaxing. Happy 4th of July!!
